Data Center Provider Comparison

An overview of US Data Centers, these slides compare the major providers of DCs in the US, showing their locations, exchange relationships and description of offerings.  TABB Group has done extensive work to understand the unique value propositions of each, and how the emergence of data centers as the "New New Thing" in our industry has altered the technology infrastructure strategies of all trading firms.

-  Upfront charges vary based on number of cabinets, cross connects, etc.
-  Although other data centers have emerged in Chicago, Cermak is seen as Chicago’s only site for true proximity hosting.
-  Power density is increasingly critical as trading firms look to pack more horsepower into each cabinet.
