Twenty years after the introduction of electronic Treasuries trading, the next phase of fixed income electronification is taking hold. The biggest shift is occurring on the investor side, says Colm Murtagh, managing director, Tradeweb, who adds that buy-side trading desks increasingly are leveraging technology to scale up to handle a growing number of trades and improve efficiency.
